The variety of topics found on Wikipedia

Have you ever noticed that whenever we make a search on Google about any random topic we normally find information and articles on that topic? And normally the top few results are always from wiki pages. The variety of information on Wikipedia is vast. Knowing this I also wanted to contribute to the platform and I wanted to make a page on my favorite film but first I had to understand how to Make a Wikipedia page for a film. Apparently creating a wiki page or an article means that one has to learn how to write for this platform exclusively. How is creating a page for a film different than creating any other page on Wikipedia?
